Fifth
My name is Kimberly Paris and I am excited to be teaching a fifth grade class here at Saint Mary of the Knobs Catholic School. I first began work in school when my oldest son was in second grade and my twin son and daughter began kindergarten. I went from lunch room monitor to instructional assistant, then I interpreted for a deaf teacher, next I directed an after school enrichment program, followed by several years working with autistic children. I returned to school to finish my degree in Anthropology and earn my master’s degree in elementary education. Most of my life
has been spent in a classroom.
I enjoy involving my students in various hands-on experiences using art, singing, signing, knitting, storytelling and community involvement to enhance our learning. We will be busy, creative and ever learning in the fourth grade throughout the school year.
