Athletics is a powerful tradition in Catholic schools and an important element in the St. Mary of the Knobs mission to educate the whole child.  Our goal is to give our student athletes an opportunity to learn about sportsmanship and team unity.

SMK will be competing in the New Albany Deanery for the 2012/2013 school year.  This League consists of 7 private schools in the Floyd and Clark County area.

Sports offered at SMK are:

3rd - 6th Grade Girls Volleyball
3rd - 6th Grade Co-ed Cross Country
K - 2nd Grade Co-ed Flag Football
3rd - 6th Grade Boys Football
3rd - 6th Grade Girls Basketball
3rd - 6th Grade Boys Basketball
3rd - 6th Grade Cheerleading
3rd - 6th Grade Co-ed Soccer
4th - 6th Grade Co-ed Track
 

Our team colors are Blue and Red.  Our mascot is the Hawk.
