School Activities

All Pro Dad: All dads are welcomed to join our chapter of All Pro Dads for a monthly opportunity to connect with your kids through activities and meaningful conversations. Donuts, coffee, milk, and juice provided.

Spirit Nights: Many community restaurants partner with SMK and offer a percentage of sales on certain days to our school. Be sure to watch our school calendar and weekly newsletter for dates. All families are invited to show their school spirit and enjoy a great meal! Thank you to our PTO for organizing this opportunity.

Book Swaps: Organized by one of our book-loving teachers, students have the opportunity at different times throughout the year to swap books. Book shelves are set up in the gym for students to visit. They leave a book of their own and choose a new book.

Reading Buddies: Students in preschool through first grade are paired with students in grades two through four and meet regularly to read together. What a great way to promote a love of literacy and community within our school!

Muffins After Mass: Each week one homeroom class takes on the liturgical roles at Mass. Parents, grandparents, and special people are invited to stay after Mass in Assumption Hall once or twice a year to enjoy muffins with their students.

Walkathon: Students in preschool through grade 8 participate each fall in our school walkathon. This takes place on campus and is used as a fundraiser. Students earn pledges from families, friends, and neighbors to walk our course laid out by PTO representatives. This is a fun afternoon filled with fellowship!
